Hello! I’m Nicole, and this is my blog, which is mostly related to motherhood, but not solely about mom life and kids. I have three children: my son E, who is six and in first grade, my daughter L, two years old, and finally my baby boy H. My husband is a pilot which leaves me the authoritative dictator of our little house for the majority of each month. I fall on the crunchy end of the motherhood spectrum: breastfeeding, cloth-diapering, baby-wearing, although my primary motivation is extreme cheapness and laziness, not superiority over other moms.
I started Suburban Doldrums as a creative output to my otherwise standard life as a stay-at-home-mom, although I do work part-time as a barista. Before this venture into the mundane art of homemaking, I was a woman who excelled at the art of customer service, in the past I worked as a flight attendant, a server, a hostess, I even had a stint as a Disney World cast member.
Thank you for checking out my blog and I welcome any feedback!
here I am with three of my four kids; my oldest gets the photo credit here. and let me preach at you here if you think my furbaby is cute: Adopt, Don’t Shop!
